High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) Clamping Force Calculator

How to use?

  • Projected Area of the Part (cm²) :

    This is the surface area of the part to be cast, which is in contact with the die. It is measured in square inches or square centimeters.

  • Number of Cavities :

    This is the number of identical parts that will be produced in a single casting cycle.

  • Projected Area of the Runner (cm²) :

    This is the surface area of the runners (channels that guide molten metal into the cavities), which is also in contact with the die.

  • Casting Type :

    This is the type of casting to be used, which can be either standard or technical.
